I spent a few days in Boone, NC last week for my baby sister's 22nd birthday and we got to have a lil photo shoot on her apartment roof along with my sister Lauren and my nephew Simon. I'm starting to get even more excited about these matching mama baby hats as I get to see them modeled on more people. Also excited about fall weather approaching...knitting and mosquito weather do not mix well. It was foggy and almost chilly in Boone on this day which made frolicking around the roof top fun and easy. Simon even kept his beanie on without making a fuss which was really very nice of him.
I just listed these so you can now shop the hats and the scarves, plus some other new holiday items! Cheers!
First pile of pom pom hats of the season! Can't wait to see this pile grow and grow as I prepare for holiday orders. I have been working feverishly on some new things for F/W 2016 and I will be listing them all in the shop very soon. Hard to believe as I knit on these 90 degree days but it really won't much longer until our heads and necks need wrapping in wool. I'll be ready!

The fullness of these drawers and the colors of the contents is surely a sign that I need to make some fall garlands and pompom hats amirite?
Shipped this custom order bunny last week! It’s fun to see how different each animal’s personality is after I finish since it’s impossible to create the same facial expression twice. I have started doing a couple things differently and like how they’re turning out. I needle felted the eyes and made a tiny pom pom for the tail. I think I could incorporate a pompom into anything–they add the perfect dose of fun.
I am hoping to have some bunnies listed in the shop soon. I’ve been experimenting with a few little details that make them extra special and I think I’m going to love how they turn out! Can’t wait to make them available.
